1. General Information
Regular cleaning including air duct cleaning and ventilation duct cleaning and maintenance can improve the performance of the Durkee textile duct system and guarantee excellent indoor air quality and optimum air dispersion, different air dispersion models and working environments (dust capacity) decide the different periods of cleaning and maintenance.
2. Maintenance Period Description
Following is the advised maintenance period of the general situation.
2.1 Durkee—EJ 100% Eject without Permeation.
Made of non-porous fabric, and usually installed in higher space, So system cleaning and maintenance requirement is not an immediate concern. According to the different work environment requirements, generally, we suggest the cleaning period is three to five years.
2.2 Durkee—PE Permeation with Injection
Made of less permeable fabric, most of the airflow is distributed through orifices; fabric blockage is not our direct concern. Additionally, the system is usually installed in higher space, According to different working statuses, the generally advised cleaning period is two to three years.
2.3 Durkee—PS Permeation with Slots
Made of various permeation fabrics, part of the air is distributed through the fabric, and the system is usually installed in lower space, so when it is discovered that fabric is seriously soiled and worked under lower efficiency, or there is obvious dust on the system surface, we need to clean system. According to different working conditions, the generally advised cleaning period is one to two years. In the cases of extremely dirty, the fabric may become discolored as the cleaning.
2.4 Durkee—PM 100% Permeation
Usually, applications are in refrigerated, cooling systems such as food processing, and regular and effective maintenance is particularly important. If the system operates dirty or soiled or for a long time without maintenance, it may result in permeability failure or less life of the system, According to the different working conditions, the generally advised cleaning period is every 3 months to half-year is better. When cleaning, take down every part from the suspended device, then turn out the dirty surface and wash.
